Where do I get national service gear and logo items?
The National Service Product Catalog is the place to find official products for all streams of service (AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, and Learn and Serve America), as well as cross-stream and Martin Luther King Day items. Products include clothing, mugs, posters, stickers, buttons, and more. Some items, such as logo art and recruitment brochures, are free of charge.

Where do I get national service logos for my website, flyer, brochure, or advertisement?
You can download these directly from the Corporation for National and Community Service logo page. Logos are available in EPS, TIFF, GIF, and JPEG formats. The National Service Product Catalog also has some logo art on disk and on camera-ready slicks. Camera-ready art is also available from the Office of Public Affairs. See next question for contact info.

Where do I get public service announcements (PSAs) for my local radio or television station?
See the Corporation's Public Service Announcements page to download digital copies, or call the Office of Public Affairs at the Corporation, 202-606-5000, for more information.

Where do I get recruitment brochures?
You may place your order online using the CNCS Online Ordering System for National Service Publications. AmeriCorps recruitment brochures may also be ordered by phone at 800-942-2677. A list of Senior Corps posters, brochures, videos, booklets, and reports for Senior Corps project directors, including ordering instructions, is accessible on the Corporation’s website. Fact sheets for each program can also be helpful for recruiting: AmeriCorps Fact Sheets, Senior Corps Fact Sheets, Learn and Serve America Fact Sheets.

Where do I get volunteer or member recognition items?
Here's a list of links to companies that provide items especially for volunteers. Baudville also has volunteer items. ELDERCRAFTS carries Senior Corps themed recognition items. You can also design your own items and order from logo product companies. See the Yahoo listings to search for a company or try asking fellow e-mail discussion list members. The Resource Center does not endorse any particular company, and we encourage you to shop around for the best value or approach local businesses for donations. Recognize your AmeriCorps members or Senior Corps volunteers with national service gear from the National Service Product Catalog!

Where do I get in-kind contributions?
Check out Gifts In-Kind International. For book donations, see the effective practices on Finding Free or Inexpensive Books or Organizing a Community Book Drive. For computer hardware, see the TechSoup article Hardware Donation Programs. For deeply discounted software for nonprofits, check out TechSoup Stock.

Where do I get free publications?
Programs that are funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service may order service-related publications from the Resource Center. Many State Commissions have great downloadable resources that are available to all types of service programs.

Where can I find a list of colleges and universities that match the AmeriCorps education award?
AmeriCorps Alums maintains a database of schools that augment the educational award. Another great resource is Brandon Rogers' National Service Fellow Report, The Effective Education Award.

Where can I find resources on citizenship training for AmeriCorps members?
See the Citizenship Toolkit or Active Citizens 101.

What is the value of volunteer time?
See Value of Volunteer Time on the Independent Sector site.
